Build software, automation and AI that improve how people and companies work, with the engineering quality to run in production.
Technology built around outcomes, not hype.
Ambystech combines software engineering, AI and product thinking to solve operational problems. We are a small team in Monterrey, and the people you talk to are the people who build.

Named after a survivor from the lakes of Mexico.
Our symbol is the axolotl, the amphibian of Xochimilco whose genus, Ambystoma, gives Ambystech its name. Our legal name, Xolotl Byteworks, comes from the same animal: in Mexica myth, the god Xolotl changed shape until he became an axolotl.
We like what it stands for. An axolotl adapts to its environment and regenerates what it loses. Good software should do the same.
- 01
Adapt to the context
Architecture follows your workflow, data and team, not a preferred vendor.
- 02
Regenerate, don’t replace
Modernize what you have and keep the business logic that already works.
- 03
Keep transforming
Software keeps becoming more contextual and autonomous. We evolve with it without dropping the engineering discipline.
One delivery system, connected from strategy to production.
The diagram reflects how we connect product thinking, architecture, AI and engineering rather than treating them as separate handoffs.
- 01
One accountable team
Product, architecture and implementation decisions stay connected instead of disappearing across handoffs.
- 02
Technology follows context
Cloud, model and framework choices are driven by workload fit, constraints and ownership.
- 03
Production is part of design
Security, observability, support and operating cost enter the conversation early.
A practical point of view on modern technology.
The same four principles guide how we design products, automate workflows and build AI-enabled systems.
- 01
Outcome-first thinking
We start by defining the operational or product outcome, then work backward into architecture and implementation.
- 02
Engineering depth
Good AI still depends on good software: APIs, data contracts, observability, testing and maintainable systems.
- 03
AI with purpose
Agents, retrieval and models are introduced only when they improve a real user or business workflow.
- 04
Cloud-agnostic delivery
We choose platforms and services according to workload, ecosystem, governance and long-term ownership.
Be a reference in Latin America for AI-native engineering: adaptable like the axolotl, close to our clients and built to last.
Questions before we start.
These answers are intentionally practical. The exact architecture and engagement model depends on the workflow, constraints and systems already in place.
01Do you only work on AI projects?
No. AI is one capability in the toolbox. Many engagements combine traditional software engineering, integration, data and automation with AI only where it adds clear value.
02Are you tied to a specific cloud or model provider?
No. We have strong experience in Azure and the Microsoft ecosystem, but architecture is selected around the workload, existing investments, governance and long-term ownership.
03Can you work with an existing engineering team?
Yes. We can own a focused initiative or work alongside internal product and engineering teams, with explicit boundaries and knowledge transfer.
04Do you build prototypes or production systems?
Both, but prototypes are designed to answer a question. When the goal is production, the scope includes the engineering and operational layers required to run the system responsibly.
Let’s build something amazing together.
